Situated in quiet natural surroundings, the main office and factory of Chugoku Seira are ideally located for the manufacture of precision products. Each factory location is well maintained with strict standards of cleanliness, free of any dust, rubbish or oil spillage. Inside the plants are controlled to provide "a foreign particle mixing prevention" state. A complete air conditioning system is provided to avoid the filling of oily smoke inside of the plant facility. An array of state-of-the-art production equipment includes nut presses, nut formers, part formers, headers, bolt formers, tapping machines and so on-many of which have had our own improvements added. All these machines and equipment are essentially computer-controlled and have the capability to carry out quality checking procedures automatically. These features of the equipment facilitate quality stabilization and the maintenance of high precision of the product while allowing us to minimize labor costs ultimately supplying our product to our customers at very competitive prices.

Chugoku Seira takes pride in using only a small number of factory operators in its manufacturing operations. This has resulted from the successful introduction of advanced automation of machines in the manufacturing prosses. A few examples of the important duties of these limited munber of operators include monitoring and contorolling the operation of each machine and piece of equipment (24 hours a day)while inspecting the workpieces by each lot in the processes. Also they carry out a visual inspection of the finished parts. Operators also maintain work logs and are responsible for attaching the process specification and identification tag to each product. The identification tag enables any party to trace the history of a product from its raw material state and contains a parts' profile(i.e. specification) in detail. The company feels proud that the accuracy and control system in producing these parts and the quality of the work force in Chugoku Seira are said to rank at the top of the industry. But this is not to say that we shall not endevor to further improve our capability.
